Billing FAQ
How does the billing work?
Stripe handles all payments. You subscribe via a Stripe checkout. Your card is charged on the same day each month. You'll get a receipt to the email you signed up with. Stripe's standard PCI-compliant payment processing.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel in /onboard/ → Billing → Cancel or directly in your Stripe customer portal. You stay on Pro until the end of the month you already paid for, then drop to Solo. No phone calls, no friction.
Do you offer annual plans or discounts?
Annual prepay knocks 15% off. Solo: stays $0. Pro: $79 × 12 × 0.85 = $806 / year. Team: $149 × 12 × 0.85 = $1,520 / year. Email hello@sidequestautomation.com for an annual invoice.
What about non-profits, schools, or volume customers?
Distributors with 50+ POs per day or specific compliance needs (FedRAMP, HIPAA-adjacent) — email hello@sidequestautomation.com and we'll quote a flat rate.
What happens if my card fails?
Stripe retries automatically over 7 days. Your service stays active during retries. After 7 days of failures, you drop to Solo tier (still functional). Update your card in /onboard/ → Billing → Payment method.
Is there a setup fee?
No. The setup is in the quick-start guide and takes you about 20 minutes. We don't charge for it.
Can I get a refund?
If SideQuest doesn't work for you in the first 30 days of Pro or Team, email us and we'll refund the month. After that we expect you to cancel via the normal flow, which stops future charges.
